Xenon
The Xenon cinema is in the first floor of a regular Berlin apartment building. It opened its doors in 1909 and is the second-oldest movie theatre in Berlin. Since Andreas Wieske took over the Xenon in 1995, it is the only cinema across Germany with a focus on queer cinema. From YVES ST. LAURENT to FREIER FALL, almost all films with that show in Germany with a queer focus are screened here. Furthermore, Xenon screens children’s films, documentaries and if possible always in the original.
