Paddington likes being in London. The little bear has it good with the Browns and (almost) all of the neighbors are his friends. But Paddington misses his Aunt Lucy who lives in the jungles of Peru in a senior home. Paddington wants to buy her a pop up picture book which he saw at an antique store for her 100th birthday because she has always wanted to travel to the big city. The book is expensive and Paddington has to save up. He asks if the neighbors need work, and it‘s fun to see how the little clumsy fellow has lots of bad luck while cutting hair and cleaning windows. Then, the day comes. Paddington has almost enough money to buy the book and looks at the book in the window display. He then sees a thief who is just about to steal the old picture book. After a wild chase the thief gets away with the loot and a suspect is found: Paddington. While Paddington sits in jail, the Browns try to catch the thief and prove Paddington‘s innocence.

PADDINGTON 2 is just as funny and thrilling as PADDINGTON. There are chases, a devilish actor, and a treasure hunt on top of the roofs of London. Paddington gets caught up in one mess after the other. He throws a red sock in the prison laundry and all the inmates have to wear pink, but the bear is so clever and lovable that he finds friends everywhere. Even the bearded prison chef Knuckels becomes his friend after Paddington teaches him how to make the best marmelade in the world.
