The documentary BODIES WE TAKE TO THE STREETS by Bianca Theis portrays feminist activists in Berlin and the director will be present for the screening on March 15th. There are also genre films by women: Jennifer Kent‘s THE NIGHTINGALE (29.3) is an Australian western, a revenge story about racism and male violence. THE WIND (22.3) by Emma Tammi is a western/horror hybrid in which young Lizzie is driven mad by a demonic presence in the prairie.
