Doxumentale 2026

Film screenings, talks, live podcasts, concerts, art and a virtual reality exhibit: the Doxumentale runs for 11 days and shows a whole range of non-fiction narratives and brings international filmmakers, writers, and podcasters to Berlin. New locations this year include the Bali, Klick, and hofkino. Some of the films are A FOX UNDER A PINK MOON about the Afghan artist Soraya who lives in Iran and dreams of escaping. OMEGA WANTS TO DANCE takes a look at universal cultural technology and THE BLIND COUPLE FROM MALI portrays the musician pair Amadou & Mariam. In D’Hun, professionals of the genre can meet, and the special series “D’Lounge“ combines film, performance, and live music – the film PUNK UNDER COMMUNIST REGIME will be screened at SO36, for example.
