TRANSMEDIALE Festival

The transmediale Festival for media art and digital culture has the title “End to End“ in 2020 and is primarily about network cultures. From January 28th to February 2nd, artists and thinkers grapple with these and other current topics of the digital age with the help of images, films, talks, and discussions. On Film & Video Day on Thursday January 30 there will be five shorts from the documentary PRESENT.PERFECT (US/HK 2019) by Shengze Zhu that is entirely made up of livestream film material from Chinese streaming sites. Some program points, like talks with the curators that is part of the “Student Forum“ section, is aimed at students.
