Once a month, the Queer Media Society screens films showing the lives and work of queer individuals, followed by a Q&A with experts.
On January 31st at 8pm the film shown will be QUEERCORE - HOW TO PUNK A REVOLUTION, in which members of such bands as Tribe 8, Team Dresch and Pansy Division explain how their queer identity inspired their music and talk about the conflicts this caused in a scene dominated by straight, White men.

After the film there will be a Q&A with Stefan Hochgesand (music editor for Berliner Zeitung).
