Filmmaker Werner Herzog turns 80 this year. The Filmmuseum der Deutschen Kinemathek is dedicating an exhibit (25.8.22-08.5.23) to the extensive work of the filmmaker as well as shining a light on Herzog as a media phenomenon who is very active on social media and even had a guest appearance on The Simpsons. Herzog himself, with his distinctive voice, is the audio guide of the exhibit. To accompany the exhibition, the Arsenal Kino will be showing a comprehensive retrospective.
