Filmrauschpalast wants to play Cupid and bring some solace to those frustrated by the notoriously difficult daring scene of Berlin. For this purpose, they will start screening film which focus on examples of dating and relationships far more bizarre than anything encountered on the streets and in the clubs of the capital.
Starting things off is THE LOBSTER (2016) by Yorgos Lanthimos (POOR THINGS), which is set in a world where single people have 45 days in a holiday resort from Hell to find a partner. If they fail, they are being turned into an animal (of their choice).
The screening is open to everybody but afterwards there is a number of dating games for singles only. Besides the love of your life, you can also win other prizes.
Film starts at 9pm.
