Particularly in times when everyday reality seems fairly daunting, there is a need to experience the more controllable horrors and fantastic escapism of genre films. And fear not, Obscura Films has you covered. At Kino & Bar in der Königsstadt on October 30th/31st, the festival will provide a selection of films to tickle your nerves and brain alike.

Starting things off is the satire THE HUNT which offers a pitchblack and heavily armed take on the current political divide in US politics, preceded by an episode of the series Cyberpunk U.S.S.R..
On Saturday, there is an argentinian apocalyptic double bill (SOY TÓXICO/SCAVENGER), zombies amongst RAVERS, KILL MODE, offering sci-fi action in a 2022 devastated by a virus and the various thrills of anthology film ASYLUM.

And just like in past years, there will be BluRays to win, magazines to take away and of course to vote your favourite film of the festival.
