In 1990 on the Rykestraße in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg a group of artists and art-interested residents opened the ACUD gallery. In 1991 the group moved to their current address in the Veteranenstraße. Alongside the gallery, ACUD houses a theatre, the MAX FISH Café and, of course, the ACUD cinema. ACUD screens recent German and European film and offers an extensive children’s film programme.
