Thor, now no longer King of Asgard, has to face a new danger, Gorr The Godbutcher (Christian Bale). Fortunately, he has old friends by his side, including his lost love Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) who has been granted the power of Thor by Mjölnir.
Together they travel to the Omnipotent City hoping to find some support from the other gods.
