Suzi Q
The Australian documentary SUZI Q tells the story of the bassist and singer from the beginning when she started the garage band The Pleasure Seekers with her sisters Patti and Arlene and began touring at age 15.
Between 1973 and 1974 Suzi Quatro was one of the most successful pop stars in Europe. The Detroit-born Quatro remained unsuccessful in the US, but she inspired countless musicians. The Australian doc SUZI Q tells the story of bassist and singer starting at the very beginning when she started the garage band The Pleasure Seekers in 1964 with her sisters Patti and Arlene and began touring at age 15, providing a fitting, if somewhat melancholy commemoration.
