Marij comes of age in Tehran against the changes and dangers of the "Islamic Revolution", Marj finds support from her uncle but also faces repressions and backlash as she tries to rebel against the increasing strict social and religious rules. To keep her safe, her parents send her to a boarding school and fianlly out of the country.
