The people of the Marshall Islands, "sea people" as the describe themselves, see the future of their islands and their republic threatened by the rising oceans. If things do not change, their republic may cease to exist in 2050. The inhabitants of the islands have been directly involved in the making of the film ONE WORD, where they get the chance to address those responsible for the climate change behind the rising tides directly. They have not given up hope yet.
