Yuri (Helena Zengel) has been told over and over that the Ochi are vicious creatures that need to be avoided or even better fought. But when she stumbles across a young fluffy Ochi, she sees that it is just a baby yearning for its family. Together they embark on a perilous journey, pursued by Maxim (Willem Dafoe) the best hunter on the island.
