On the way to a rodeo, a young, loudmouthed cowboy (Don Murray) decides that Chérie, a singer in a diner (Marilyn Monroe) is going to be the women he will marry. Chérie likes Beau but has no plans of marrying him, but Beau simply forces her to travel with him.

One of Monroe's least comedic and most dramatically challenging roles.
