28 years after the rage virus depopulated Britain, life has started again. On his coming-of-age excursion to the mainland, 12-year-old Spike is faced with a world he has never seen, which makes him question some of the "facts" his father told him.
Danny Boyle's new visiit to the Great Britain now quarantined and depopulated by the Rage Virus is visually stunning, narratively daring and strangely beautiful in parts. But there is also more than enough gore and morbid humour for those who enjoy such things.
